On December 12-14, 2017, on the basis of the regional center of children's and youth tourism and ecology, the regional search and research conference of schoolchildren "Children's Development Academy" was held.

The conference was conducted with the purpose of revealing gifted schoolchildren, developing their abilities, forming creative skills; satisfaction of the interests of pupils  in the comprehension of the material being studied, which go beyond the school curriculum; development of the initiative and creativity of the leaders of circles in the scientific and methodological work of pupils' research activities.
